Oliver is now 1 year old and just like all moms I have mixed feelings about this. I am happy he is healthy and growing and oh so cute, but my baby boy is growing up. He had a fun little party with Mommy, Daddy and Barley and of course enjoyed the balloons, paper and boxes more then the actual presents.
I think his favorite part was the birthday cake. Oliver hasn't had much sugar in his year of life and this was the first time he indulged himself. Although suprisingly not too messy, there was frosting in the hair and lots of licking of slimey green fingers.
Golly I love this kid! It is crazy to think of life without him. I am given so much in life to be thankful for and Oliver is at the top of my list. Heavenly Father is so gracious to allow me to be the mother of this lovable little guy!

OK, AND THAT BDAY PICTURE BELOW LOOKS LIKE PATRICK DEMPSEY IS HOLDING OLIVER! OH MY GOSH, JOSH LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE HIM!!! i've always said that but wow, that picture seriously could be turned into the tabloids for money!!! :) oh, and i love excalamation points!! :) hehe!

Happy Birthday Ollie! I even thought about him on his birthday! He is such an adorable little guy! I remember last year when you called Grant and me to tell us about having Oliver and it has already been a year! Crazy how time flies! I wish we lived closer so that Will and OIlie could be little buds and play together! Not that Will really plays right now! We definitely need to plan a weekend trip together though!
