BIG boy bed

Oliver has been sleeping in his Big Boy bed for over a week now and has done a fabulous job!!! He has made his mommy very happy! I heard all sorts of horror stories about holding doors closed while child is screaming and banging on said door, or hours and hours of playing and jumping on new bed, or just getting out of bed constantly and not having the energy to put child back in their bed so allowing them to stay in yours....ect. On the first night Oliver was so excited to sleep in his new Thomas Train bed that he crawled right in, we read books and sang songs and he didn't get up until 6am the next morning. Nap time the next day I had to put him back in bed twice and that has been the end of getting out of his bed! He stays there and yells "Mommy" or "Daddy" when he wakes up and waits until I come in the room before getting out of bed. Isn't he an angel??? Thanks to Walmart for having a clearance sale on Thomas Train, Handy Manny, and Winnie the Pooh sheets and comforters!!!

May Bug

We got to have a free 3-D ultrasound on Friday and it was so much fun to see our little May. She was snuggling up to the placenta, so the pictures didn't come out too great, but I will post some anyway. She literally came to life on the screen. We saw her yawn and stick out her tounge...just like a little newborn would. It was precious. Oliver thought she looked like a monster, hopefully he won't think that after she is born :)

This is a picture of her face. Like I wrote previously she was by the placenta so it was hard to get a good shot. you can see her nose right in the middle and the cord is under it.

This is another shot of her face...awwww

This is her hand. We have a few shots of her hand and a couple of her feet...one where she is holding her foot, but if I put them on here I think you would just see blobs.

It is getting so close to the day when she is born. We can hardly wait. The last trimester always seems to go so slow...I just want her here, but I guess I will have to wait until she is ready!

Dance Party USA

We have dance parties at least once a day at our house. Oliver LOVES to dance and is the one who most often requests these dance parties. Usually it consists of one really cute dancer, and a mom and dad making fools of themselves. I thought I would spare you (and me) the humiliation and embarrassment of watching Josh and I dance and just post some of Oliver. He has some very origial dance moves, some of which you will see in the clip, others are just to cute to actaully capture on the video camera so you will have to see those in person!

My BIG Boy

I gave Oliver his second hair cut the other day. I cut it a bit shorter then last time and now...he looks all grown up. I guess I should see this as a good thing since I will have a new baby to snuggle in May, but he is my first baby and now he is soooo big. I swear the hair cut made him taller and helped him talk better. He loves to count and talk on the phone and especially LOVES his daddy. Golly I love this kid!

May in May

We had an ultrasound yesterday and thought we would post some pictures of our cute little girl. We have decided to name her May (after my mom, Marilyn May)Dora (after Josh's grandma Dora or Doie as most of us know her). Baby May weighs 1lb 3 oz (give or take 3 oz) and is a mover. She was not happy about getting her picture taken and was trying to avoid it as much as possible!
